Morice is a Calgary based company that prides themselves on finding balance in business, with clients and in the environments that they interact with during projects. Through their experiences in commercial and industrial construction, coupled with their detailed approach, Morice wants to their customers to feel their honesty, safety and quality are second to none.

The brand drew inspiration from Morice River, the river that the founder’s family fished on for many generations. By using negative space to create an image and tell a story, the river icon in the letter "O" embraces the company’s family history. This icon adds a friendliness to the logo while reflecting the detailed and collaborative approach Morice Contracting takes with their customers. The simple sans serif typeface helps conveys that Morice Contracting offers high quality services while the consistency of the bold letters speak to their reliability and honest work.

The goal of the Morice website was to create a space that gives their audience a sense of the professional, reliable and honest experience they’ll have when they hire Morice for their custom project. To achieve this, we created simple, easy to navigate sections for the company to speak to their values, explain the history behind their name and included a FAQ section to answer any up front questions that clients may have.
